1. Payment Terms
All services must be paid in full at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, card, or other methods pre-approved by Wrieden & Sons LLC. Customer agrees to pay the total amount due for services rendered. Failure to pay may result in collection actions and legal remedies.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
3. Vehicle Condition and Customer Responsibilities
Customer affirms they have the legal right to authorize services on the vehicle(s) presented. Customer is responsible for removing personal belongings from the vehicle prior to service. We are not liable for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle. Excessively dirty vehicles (e.g., heavy pet hair, mold, biohazards) may incur additional charges or be refused service.
4. Liability and Warranty Disclaimer
While we strive for excellence, services are provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied. Wrieden & Sons LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, faded or oxidized paint, or outcomes resulting from poor vehicle maintenance. We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Customer agrees not to pursue legal claims beyond the value of services rendered.
5. Weather and Mobile Service Conditions
Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather, unsafe work conditions, or vehicle inaccessibility. If the work area is not safe or accessible, Wrieden & Sons LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment.
6. Chemical and Environmental Compliance
All chemicals used are safe for automotive surfaces when used as directed. We take precautions to prevent environmental contamination; however, customer must provide a suitable area for detailing (e.g., no proximity to storm drains or restricted spaces).
7. Photos and Marketing
We may take before/after photos for quality control and marketing. No personal info or license plates will be shown without permission. If you do not wish for your vehicle to be photographed, please notify us in writing before service.
8. Agreement and Legal Jurisdiction
By booking or accepting our services, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of the State of Alabama, and any legal proceedings must be filed in Mobile County.
9. Damage Waiver for Existing Conditions
Wrieden & Sons LLC is not responsible for damage caused by the normal cleaning process on vehicles with pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to rust, flaking paint, clear coat failure, loose trim, or cracked interior components. Customer acknowledges these risks when service is requested.
10. Service Satisfaction Policy
If the customer is unsatisfied with the service, they must notify Wrieden & Sons LLC within 24 hours of completion. After that period, no refunds, rework, or disputes will be honored.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, hostile behavior, or vehicle conditions that pose health risks.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, illness, equipment failure, or acts of God.
13. Use of Customer's Water and Electricity
For mobile detailing services performed at the customer's location, the customer agrees to provide access to functional water and electricity if available. The customer grants permission for Wrieden & Sons LLC to use these utilities solely for the purpose of performing the service. The customer agrees not to charge Wrieden & Sons LLC for the use of their water or electricity, as such usage is minimal and included as part of the service terms. If water or electricity is not available, services may be limited or rescheduled at the discretion of Wrieden & Sons LLC.
